Equipment

  • 200 grams cooked salmon
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Kewpie mayonnaise (adjust to your liking)
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce (adjust to your liking)
  • 6 slices sandwich bread
  • lettuce or spinach leaves optional
  • Cucumber slices optional
  • Shredded carrots optional

Instructions
 

  • Make the salmon filling: In a bowl, mix the cooked salmon with Kewpie mayonnaise. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and gently stir until everything is coated and creamy.
  • Assemble the sandwich:
    Place lettuce or spinach on one slice of bread.
    Add a scoop of the salmon mixture.
    Layer cucumber slices and grated carrots or cabbage.
    Add a slice of cheese.
    Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.
  • Pack or serve: Slice in half and wrap in parchment paper if bringing it to go. Great for picnics or packed lunches.
